The Phantom roams the castle looking for his lost lover and discovers a girl who looks so much like her that he falls for her. She double crosses him by betraying him to her other the lover, the Chief Inspector of Police who is investigating the mystery of the Phantom. The Phantom kidnaps her and takes her to his dungeon below the castle but she reveals his identity and discovers his terrible secret. He lets her go, ashamed of his appearance. Will she right his wrongs and finally love him?
