| Bella loves Jenna is easily the most impressive production to come out of Club Jenna to date (even more so than 2002's I Dream of Jenna, which was nominated for Best Sex Comedy), the big-budgeted Bella Loves Jenna is dark, twisted, sick-humored, highly entertaining couples fare. It's all but a lock to be nominated later this year for Best Video Feature.
Visually very striking - stunning even, in parts; check out the nightmarish opening credits sequence, for instance, and the striking special effects throughout - full of sizzling couples sex and, of course, featuring the biggest female adult star of all time looking absolutely fetching in various fetish-light outfits, this is all but guaranteed to be one of, if not the biggest selling/renting title of the year. Stock it in droves.
In a risk-taking stretch of a role, Jenna plays a cannibalistic mass murderer - yes cannibalistic (well, she is a man-eater after all, now isn't she?) - who survived at age four by devouring her slain parents like so many buffalo wings, then, seriously bent by that experience, grew up and killed five people and is now about to be put to death in the electric chair. Then things really get weird as - apparently before the juice flows - she finds herself somehow transported to a Nazi torture chamber, and from there to various dark, but wonderfully designed, locales, which are, naturally, the settings for the title's six sex scenes, then periodically back again to the Third Reichers and ol' Smoky.
Now before your more tame clientele gets turned off by all this morbid heaviness, we should point out that much of it is wrapped in a wacky, zany package, which makes about zero sense when it's happening - is Jenna hallucinating or what? - but is all explained at the end, nice and pat-like. Whatever. No one but us porn critics care about such things as pat endings. This is a fuck tape after all, not a high brow art house film, even though, content-wise, it's reminiscent (whether consciously or not) of the great, creepy, psychological horror flick Jacob's Ladder with dashes of The Twilight Zone thrown in.
Speaking of fucking, for couples fare, it's pretty damn hard here.
Highlights include the title bout between Jameson and hard-edge queen Belladonna, who seems to inspire Jenna to get downer and dirtier than usual as Jenna wails all guttural-like while Bella three fingers her pussy, then returns the favor and eats Bella's ass to boot. Pre-nom it for Best All-Girl Sex Scene.
Scene three has our girl, this time dressed in a boob-revealing latex apron and matching boots, giving gooey head to a heavily made up Justin Sterling, then riding his tool and taking a nice DNA blast to her luscious kisser, dangling jizz strands and all.
That's followed by a pre-nom worthy Best Sex Coupling as Belladonna power sucks real life lover Nacho Vidal, takes his stiffie deep in her ass and his jizz all over her face, then spits some of the goo out and eats his bunghole to end the scene, the title's nastiest.
Besides the above-mentioned pre-noms, Bella Loves Jenna is deserving of several more: Best Video Feature, Best Director - Video (Sterling), Best Actress (Jameson), Best Non-Sex Performance (Randy Spears in a Rod Serling-like role), Best Videography (Sterling and Barry Wood), Best Editing (Sterling), Best Art Direction (Melissa Monet), Best Special Effects (Mike Stanton) and, finally, Best DVD Menus. |
