Contract Star DVD

Jesse, Teagan, Evan Stone and Eric Masterson are all cast as latinos in this movie – although I’m pretty sure none of them actually are in real life. But don’t worry Robby D’s script is light-hearted and fun, so any ethnic stereotypes that may be present here are good intentioned and not meant to offend.

Eric and Evan are warehouse workers for a porn company not all that dissimilar to Digital Playground. Their boss informs them that the company’s top star, “Sara St Patrick” has left the studio for another one, and that they are now in search of a female talent to replace her. Any similarities to this and Digital Playground’s real life experiences with a certain adult star that happens to be named Patrick are purely coincidental.

Evan happens to be dating the very hot-looking Jesse Jane, so Eric tries for convince him that she would be prefect as the company’s new star. Evan isn’t that crazy about the idea, but agrees to let Eric film him the next time he gets it on with Jesse, so they can show the tape to the studio. Jesse Jane fans will recall that she had a pretty hot coupling with Evan back in Robby D’s Beat the Devil, and this scene is equally as fun to watch. After making out with Jesse, Evan isn’t quite sure that he wants her to do it with other people on camera, so that leaves Eric without a girl to show to the studio. He goes off to see a call girl played by dark haired Jenaveve Jolie, and winds up having sex with her after telling her that he knows a way she can make more money. Meanwhile Jesse is curious enough about the potential job that she goes in to talk to the owner of the studio – played by Tommy Gunn. While Evan and Eric are outside his office thinking Tommy is showing Jesse some footage from one of the company’s movies Tommy and Jesse are inside getting it on – with Jesse giving some impressive deep throating for starters.

Contract star wraps up with a steamy girl/girl encounter between Jesse and Teagan – which includes Jesse using a red dildo on Teagan; and Teagan returning the favour by using a glass dildo on Jesse.

Perhaps the best part of this DVD is how darn good it looks. Like Island Fever 3, the movie was shot using high definition equipment, and is presented in anamorphic format with 5.1 Dolby Digital sound. The result is technically superior to some mainstream movie discs!

Extras on the DVD include a 17 minute Behind the Scenes featurette which is both well made and quite humourous. There’s also a nice selection of trailers (including the one for contract Star), bios for Jesse, Teagan and director Robby D, and a very nice photo gallery. All in all, a classy movie that cements DP’s place as the Rolls Royce of adult studios.
